Hello Dansereau Family
I just heard a song (and watched the video) that I thought you would like. It’s a song Mary could have sung to baby Jesus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVbfcxgMkA4
I thought you would like it as well – there’s a really cute baby in the video.

With the snow falling today, everything looks so pretty (even ugly things like our weird tree). Rod has put up lots of Christmas lights and is adding one piece at a time to our outdoor nativity scene. Advent is one of my very favourite seasons – I love the songs and the quiet waiting and preparing for Jesus. I try to even wear purple, purple, pink and purple to mass if I remember (but this Sunday I forgot). I will remember next week.
If you guys need a night time outing and want to see the lights, we would love to see you and I can make some hot apple cider for you. I pray for you and your family all the time and I think it has helped to see His love so keenly surround you all.
With love and prayers,

My cat was trying to “help” me type my note to you. She is very bossy today. Anyway – I wanted to say hello to you. I pray for you and your family all the time and am so in awe of the love of God which surrounds you all.
I am so happy that it is Advent. Advent is my favourite season. I love the awesome music and the wonderful readings and the prayers to prepare us for Jesus and the Advent wreath. I even try to wear purple (then purple, then pink, then purple) to mass (but I forgot this week).
The snow is making everything pretty today – even our ugly tree. Rod has put up lots of twinkly lights and is adding one piece of our outdoor crib scene at a time. If you are in town some evening and want to drive past at dark, we would love to see you! I could even make hot apple for you!

Hello Dansereax Family. I wrote to the Mother Teresa Center in California with a prayer request for Bernadette. Here is the response I received.
God’s peace and strength to you all.
May the peace of Jesus fill your heart!
Thank you for your e-mail.
We are very united with you in prayer of intercession to Mother Teresa for the complete healing of Bernadette Dansereau and for her family and loved ones during this time.. Mt 7:7; Mk 11:24; Lk 1:37!
Your petition has been sent to Calcutta to be placed on Mother Teresa’s tomb. The Holy Mass is offered every Friday for all the intentions there.
God in His Providence arranges everything for the good of those who love Him Rom 8:28. ‘Jesus I trust in You’!
If you would like to receive a prayer card with the novena to Mother Teresa, please send us your postal address.
Please keep us in your prayers that the message of Mother Teresa through the work we are doing, may shine forth in the world of today, that “God still loves the world through you and through me today;” that the poorest of the poor, the unwanted, the lonely, the rejected and each one of us may know and experience how much God loves us personally.
God bless you and keep you in His Love.

Hi Bernadette, I am your Mum’s aunt too, like Danielle, your great-aunt, my name is Zita. I met you in 2009, just before Christmas when I came to visit with my sister Colleen, who is next in age to your Grandma Scherr. You were only one then, a few months off turning two, so you won’t remember our visit. Please say thanks to your mum for all the little journal entries so we can read about how you are doing.
I am really sad that you have to go through these painful procedures because you are not well. I know you are strong and have lots of courage though to cope with them. I think of you and pray for you every day. It is good to know where you live and what your house is like. You have a lovely family. XXX
Virginia Pukas | Nov 22, 2014 10:55am
good morning Bernadette. i hope today will be a good day for you. Have you made any snowflakes? Sometimes I wish my little girl was 6 or 7 again so I could do crafts again with her. We used to make homemade chocolates at this time of year so she could give them to her grandma for Christmas. We used to take pretzels and dried apricots and half dip them in melted chocolate. Sometimes we would dip the pretzels in white chocolate and mix almonds in white chocolate to make almond bark. Her grandma really really liked the chocolates. Sometimes she didnt even want to share!!!!!!!!!! Here is your joke for today. Ready?…………How did the barber win the race? …………………… He knew a short cut! hahahaha! sending you a prayer hug. love Virginia

Hi Bernadette, This is your Mum’s aunt, Dani. I know I’ve never met you, but from the photos I can see that you and your sisters look a lot like your Mum. It is lovely to see your new tutu. I love dancing too, although I never got to do ballet. I did do some ballroom dancing for awhile. I have a little joke to share with you. Hope you like it. What do you call a pony with a sore throat? A little horse! Hope that made you smile. I am praying for you and your family every day. God Bless. Dani

Good morning Sunshine! I hope today will be a good day for you. Did you dance yesterday? I sure hope so. Today looks like a day for chicken soup because it is so gloomy outside and it looks like it is going to snow. Maybe you can make snowflake cutouts today. That would be a fun craft to do. well, here is your joke for the day…….ready? its a good one!………… ok……. what did the snail say when he was riding on the back of a turtle?…………..wheeeee! hahaha, that was a groaner and a knee slapper! sending you a prayer hug. love, Virginia
Patricia Kwitkoski | Nov 19, 2014 11:24pm
Hi Bernadette, I hope you had a fun day. It sure is nice to see the sunshine. I really liked seeing the new pictures of you. My kids made forts in the living room too! Here’s a winter joke. Where do snowmen go to dance?….To a Snowball ! 🙂 I hope you have a good day tomorrow. Love & Prayers, Patricia
Lydia Melesko | Nov 19, 2014 1:00am
I remember you dressed as a junior bride’s maid (flower girl) at Paul and Christina’s wedding.
You sure had fun with Catherine and Alexandra at the reception. We are all praying for you and hoping you have a great day tomorrow. I’m not sure if you are still up late tonight but if not you will see this in the morning on Wednesday and know that that is tomorrow. Have a nice drink of carrot juice and think of me joining you in drinking. I find this gives me strength so drink up. Do you think if you and I drink enough we’ll turn orange like carrots? Ha ha. It hasn’t happened to me yet.
Perhaps Alexandra will write to you next time. A little earlier in the day!
Remember God loves you and we love you too.

Hi Bernadette! You probably don’t remember me, the last time I saw you was a couple of years ago when me and my brother came over to your house to practice music with your dad for church. I just wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Every night I say prayers with my 10-month old daughter Alessia and my husband Max, and we always say a special prayer for you and your family. You are so brave and strong, may you feel God’s love surround you now and always 🙂
Here’s a picture that I hope will inspire you to go to ballet class, and dance your heart out as much as you can!
Lots of love and hugs from Julia, Max and Alessia Ciampi
